H2air comes onboard

Last night, in Tours Clarisse Crémer was warmly welcomed by the employees of H2air, an independent renewable electricity producer. A company committed to the climate emergency, which builds and operates solar and onshore and offshore wind farms in France and now internationally.

The meeting between H2air and Clarisse Crémer officially marked the start of a partnership that will run until the Vendée Globe 2024. This legendary race, also known as the "Everest of the Seas", is one of the toughest sporting challenges in the world, a major sporting and human challenge that Clarisse Crémer, the current women's solo round-the-world record holder in a monohull, is keen to take up.

H2air employees, alongside those of L'Occitane en Provence, will be able to accompany and support the yachtswoman throughout her year of preparation and her round-the-world voyage. In addition to their environmental commitments, H2air is particularly keen to get involved in the young skipper and mother's "Race for Equity" campaign, leading up to her non-stop, unassisted round-the-world voyage in 2024. Through this partnership, the company wishes to highlight its commitment to a fairer and more sustainable future, but also to promote equity in the world of sailing and, by extension, in the business world.

"While L'Occitane en Provence is my main sponsor, I will also be surrounded by smaller sponsors, such as H2air. I really wanted to find others sponsor that would be in line with our values and those of L'Occitane en Provence. And behind the name H2Air I discovered a very human company with values in common with my project: fairness, human adventure, mastery of the elements, preservation of the environment, performance, etc." declared Clarisse Crémer, alongside Roy Mahfouz, the company's CEO.

To conclude her speech, the young skipper asked the company to lend her some of the wind they use on their wind farms during her races.
